Based on the chart, we should expect lower inflation or higher nominal interest rates. I'm guessing the latter. Perhaps this will become a big story in Taiwan, since most people take out variable rate mortgages. In fact, only over the last month have some companies started offering fixed rates in addition to variable rate mortgages.
