"Like Godrej, many of the best employers in Hewitt's survey see the global economic crisis as an opportunity to cement their relationship with their staff, train employees and woo key people from competitors. While many of these companies are cutting costs right now, only one Hewitt best employer has announced that it will downsize its organization. Many of these top 25 companies say that employees are still entitled to raises and bonuses; training budgets are also untouched."
