SERIOUSLY, CAN THE WORLD STILL LOOK TO THE US FOR GUIDANCE ON MEDICAL ISSUES?  

"I just engaged in some critical thinking with my students. I thought it was something that we're supposed to do in discussion groups, and they had asked me, right?" Dr. Moon [Washington State University professor] said. 

"They said that I had caused them trauma and harm by telling them that the vaccines might not be 100 percent safe. Again, these are medical students. This is a medical school. Nothing is 100 percent safe, not even aspirin is 100 percent safe. Everything has the potential for a reaction. So to have that be a complaint against me really surprised me and it really concerned me."

University marking boycott: How are students being impacted - and will they still get their degrees? by Lara Keay | Sky News

The UCU is calling for a pay rise of either retail price index (RPI) inflation, which was 11.3% in May, plus an extra 2% or 12% - whichever is higher. The UCEA says it has offered increases between 5% and 8% backdated to February but they have so far been rejected. . . . Raj Jethwa, UCEA's chief executive said ahead of Friday's talks: "Despite the financial pressures facing the sector, this pay award is comparable to settlements in the wider economy including the public sector workers pay rises of between 5% and 7%."
